TXT180 Scholarship Terms & Conditions
By applying for a TXT180.com Scholarship, you must read and agree to these terms. By applying, you are agreeing to and accepting these Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship.
Students in an award of the scholarship will also be required to sign a scholarship agreement and meet the requirements as outlined in the agreement.
All correspondence between applicant and TXT180.com will be done primarily via email, with the option of telephone, based on TXT180.com’s decision. Any changes to this email address, after submission of application and without necessary cause, may result in cancelation of the application. You must provide your mailing address and email address so that we can send you paperwork as needed to complete if you are selected as a scholarship recipient.
You must accept your scholarship offer by the due date, as instructed in your offer email, to be eligible to receive the scholarship payment.
Unless otherwise noted, you must be a resident of the U.S. to be considered for TXT180.com Scholarship award.
To be eligible to receive the scholarship, the recipient must enroll at an accredited university or college located in the United States. Scholarships proceeds will be remitted to that school before the student attends.
TXT180.com will make payment of the funds in a single installment, although we reserve the right to make payment in multiple installments if we see fit.
Scholarships are awarded based on preestablished eligibility criteria. You must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined to receive your scholarship payment.
Scholarship recipients will be required to submit a current photo and submit a publicity release granting TXT180 permission to use their name and photo onTXT180.com and in other social or marketing communications.
TXT180 is not responsible for and cannot provide you with financial advice on taxation matters. The information provided here is of a general nature only and does not consider your individual financial circumstances. If you are enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits per semester), your scholarship payment may not be taxed, however, TXT180 is not responsible for checking and notifying you of, nor paying any taxation obligations.
TXT180.com reserves the right to change the scholarship program at any time, including availability, award amounts, scholarship details, deadlines, requirements, or other program details.
Providing false or misleading information is an offense. If TXT180 knows or has reason to believe that you have provided false or misleading information, TXT180 may reassess your entitlement to the scholarship and you will be liable to re-pay TXT180 the total sum of any payments incorrectly made to you.
